Who is Brant Tubbs?
I'm Brant Tubbs, cook by day, and author whenever I have time. This writing gig? It's fueled by a lifelong obsession with spinning tales and building worlds, all thanks to my deep love for nature and a healthy curiosity about what lurks in the shadows. Think intricate stories that tiptoe along the darker edges of reality.
My literary heroes are a diverse bunch, ranging from the undisputed king of chills, Stephen King, the master of adventure, Ernest Cline, the demigod wrangling genius, Rick Riordan, and the thrilling storyteller of the strange and spooky, Jonathan Maberry. Of course, the breathtaking beauty of the natural world also plays a huge role in sparking my creativity.
When I'm not lost in crafting shadowy realms and the characters who inhabit them, you'll likely find me in full-on dad mode, cheering on my favorite hockey team, Go Pens!, or diving headfirst into the captivating universes of anime and gaming. While music and I have a complicated relationship, let's say my attempts at playing are best left unmentioned!, I find peace and inspiration in getting lost in a good soundtrack.
When I truly want to unwind, you will find me getting lost in the wonderfully weird worlds of a great B-film. Murder Party reigns supreme in my book! Well, not the one I'm writing, but you know what I mean!
